A Fast Paced, Futuristic Racing Game with Multiple Modes of Mayhem!

This sequel to 1990's F-Zero features the same fast paced concept but with the added ability to attack other racers! What set this racing game apart from others on the Nintendo 64 console was its very high frame rate. This made the pace of the game appear much faster than other racing games, but was made possible by reducing the quality of graphics in aspects like the background and track. So of course, the game was praised for its fast pace, but criticized for its poor graphics. In addition to normal racing mode, there is an "X Cup" mode, which randomly selects tracks, and a Death Mode, in which racers can be passed and beaten normally or destroyed entirely.
Controls:
Control Stick - Steer Cart left and right
A Button - Accelerate
B Button - Brake, (Reverse if used in conjunction with control stick)
Z Button - Uses Item
Left C - Camera left Button
Right C - Changes Onscreen Display
Up C - Changes Camera Position
Down C - Uses Item
R Button - Jump (Drift if used in conjunction with control stick)
L Button - Adjusts Background Music Volume
START Button - Pause the game
