In the late nineties, Lucy Lawless' portrayal of Xena served as a perfect follow up to the Hercules series for anyone that happened to be watching the WB. This popularity led Nintendo to license Xena's name and likeness and this was the game born from the union. It's a pretty run of the mill fighter with nothing too much to offer to set it apart from other fighting games, but it did allow for four player combat, which was a rarity for the genre. Battle as Xena, Gabrielle, and other characters from the show leading up to the boss fight against aan all new character called Despair. Graphics may be a bit choppy but the scenery is pretty and the music is pretty decent.

Left C - Camera Rotate Left
Right C - Camera Rotate Right
Up C - Switch camera view
R Button - Switches camera view to behind player
START Button - Pause the game, options menu
